The Government Veterinary Services (GVS) are really excited to be exhibiting at the London Vet Show on Thursday 14th and Friday 15th November. We will be on stand N70, so do stop by to say "hi" and learn more about what we do.
The Government Veterinary Services, led by UK Chief Veterinary Officer (CVO), Christine Middlemiss, represents the community of vets working across government. It provides a community for all government vets, from those conducting inspections to those ensuring our food is safe to eat, and those supporting our international trade and protecting animals and people from disease.
Our stand this year focuses on Government Veterinary Stories. Giles, an Animals in Science Inspector at the Home Office says:
“I have a very rewarding and intellectually challenging job which enables me to support scientific advancements whilst protecting animals”.
Come and visit our stand to learn more about what a career in GVS could look like for you and be inspired about what your Government Veterinary Story may be.
The Animal and Plant Health Agency (APHA) will also have stand at the Vet Show which can be found at T69.
