This position is aimed at vets with an RCVS recognised veterinary science degree and experience in veterinary education. They will be responsible for leading the new School of Veterinary Science as well as delivering the new joint BVSc Veterinary Science degree with the Royal Veterinary College (RVC). The Royal Veterinary College and Aberystwyth University are developing a joint BVSc Veterinary Science degree which will be established as part of the new School of Veterinary Science being developed at the university. This will be the first veterinary training opportunity in Wales and will involve students completing the first two years of their degree at Aberystwyth followed by the remaining three years at RVC in London with EMS placements being undertaken in Wales.
This comes on the back of a new veterinary hub being developed in the university which will work with industry to develop new tools for promoting animal health.
