The Future Leaders Scheme (FLS) and Senior Leaders Scheme (SLS) is a cross-government development scheme which lasts for 2 years and aims to propel the brightest of the civil service into the most senior leadership roles.
The FLS is aimed at Grade 6 or 7 candidates looking to develop their senior leadership skills and the SLS is aimed at SCS 1 thinking of moving into the top civil service roles. Participants in the scheme will undertake training in leadership and personal development which will be a mix of taught and self-led learning. This is an excellent opportunity to develop your career in the civil service.
The scheme is currently open for applications and closes on 20 September 2019.
